Brandon Couch

“Never give up, no matter what you do.”

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a singer or even wanted to start? Well, now you can because I’m very good at singing and I would like to tell you that it takes a lot of work. First let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Brandon Couch and I’m an ESFP in my Meyers Briggs test, which is a personality test. This means that I’m a warm-hearted person, outgoing, and also I like to make friends. I like to play video games, watch television, read, and play outdoors.

I took an intelligence test a while ago and I learn kinesthetically, musically, verbally, and visually. My weaknesses in this test are math, independence and ecological facts. Really, music is my life and I basically live on it and so does my sister. Also what I have learned this year is that I can be a little annoying and obnoxious. I learned this because people have told me, but I think that I’m getting better. I personally think, that knowing this is a good thing. That way I can work on it throughout the year. My weaknesses in this test are math, independence and ecological facts.

Now in singing you have to take many voice classes. I took voice classes for a whole year and it was really fun. Also I have been the best singer in my class from fourth grade to seventh grade. From then on I’ve no idea who’s the best because I have met many good singers. I also learned the piano to increase my singing skills. Now I’m hoping to be in a band and get known for what I really can do. However in the band I’m joining I’m going to be the drummer instead of the singer (but I don’t have a steel drum set I have an electric drum set). So now that I think about it I might ask them to see if I can be the lead singer since I’m so good at it.

In the past my life has been a little crummy because I got picked on and bullied just because I was shorter that usual. In time however, I made more friends jus by playing football and sports with them. The more friends I had the less bullied I got. My friends hooked me up with their friends so it became an expanding friendship. The only hard thing about friendships is keeping them. This is because if you do the slightest thing that makes your friend angry then you could lose them as a friend. I made someone really angry and lost him as a friend. Instead of losing one friend though I lost many because a lot of guys were his friends.
