My past school experience was not very good because the school that I went to was hard for me to get into the things that we would be learning because the kids there would pick up on things a lot faster then I would so it made it hard for me to get focused because I felt that I was never going to catch up to my friends and that I could just push my work off to the side.
My learning style is an answer and I did not expect for me to be that because I usually sit back and let kids answer the question and then I will think about what they said and come up with my own idea. The best way that I learn is by doing hands on things. I love figuring things out with my hands and seeing what works and what doesn’t work. I think that its much more fun to use your hand on things instead of having to think about them and coming up with an answer that may not even work.
I have learned that I am more into my work this year then I have been in the past because I now see that you cant just sit back and let your work do its self. I have learned that when I get stuff done I learn more then just trying to get it over with. As a learner I have grown this pass year because I’m trying and I am not behind in work or classroom participation because the teachers are taking their time to make sure that I don’t fall behind.
A millennial is a generation of kids that have had something important happen in that generation. Millennial are very good with technology because that’s what our generation has grown up on and just like any other generation we are known for one thing and that’s our ability to get technology very easily. The millennia’s is very creative and bright generations that may not be like other generations that are more know for their ability to work for things and get certain things done. I believe that when a group of people is named by their age and what happened in that time they were born could start stereotypes because the new generation could be smarter at something then the others.
There are a ton of ways that people describe the millennial generation and there’s one that sticks out to me and that is that the millennia’s are lazy and don’t like to work for the things they want. I think this is not true at all there are many millennial people that may not be as hard working as others but there are those people in every generation because they get tired of having to do the work. Most of to day’s millennia’s are hard working at what they are interested in.
When I am at stores I get fallowed around because the person who owns it or works there thinks that I’m going to steal something just because of my age and that what people have said about our generation makes it seam like we are going to steal stuff and try to get away with it. There’s always going to be little arguments with your parents and teachers no matter what generation you are in.
I like being called a millennial because it’s a new kind of generation and we are the ones who are going to bend the rules and see what we can make of our generation. We are not going to fallow other generations and do what others want us to do because we have seen what that can do to a generation and we have learned from that.
